Year 3 have been attempting to make sparks in the same way people did in Stone Age times. The children were given a flint and steel in order to strike them together and make a spark. The children all succeeded. After this, Mrs Bishop boiled a kettle of water over a small fire and the children enjoyed a traditional Stone Age drink of nettle tea.
