It is one of the oldest festivals in Cáceres, since it dates back to the year 1561. It is celebrated on February 2 and 3. During the morning of February 2, the Virgen de las Candelas leaves in procession from the hermitage of the same name, located in the heart of the Monumental City. The festival of San Blas is held in her hermitage, on the same day as Las Candelas, that is, the eve of the saint.

Our students lived the pilgrimage using the traditional customs and celebrated different events around it. All the activities are share in our roll up and using the QR codes you can watch them. On 7th we celebrate in our school with a stall and workshop what we have learnt with all school and European teachers from Romania, England and Italy.
