kindergarten students are getting to know the social classes of the Middle Ages,
How each social class dressed: the Kings, the Nobles, the clergy and the serfs and peasants… where they lived. The world of castles and their outbuildings: the battlements, the Paseo de Ronda, the parade ground, the Torre del Homenaje, which was where the Kings and their children lived…
In three years some draw ideal castles on their own  for their age.
And we are also focusing on the different guilds that lived in the village such as: potters, glaziers, bakers, embroidery and dyeing of fabrics, and the hard work of the peasants. The have learnt  a medieval song and dramatizations  in the classroom Well, we have a castle made by a family with a large cardboard box … It is the perfect setting to dramatize.
